ION Club Valdevaqueros

Valdevaqueros is one of the most famous beaches for the practice of windsurfing and kitesurfing. The ION center is located in front of the beach in ​​Valdevaqueros area and offers an extensive program of equipment rent and lessons to all windsurfers, kitesurfers and paddle surf riders. Due to the bay form of Valdevaqueros beach, the strong Levante winds are not a problem, since they normally blow out to sea on most of the other beaches of Tarifa, Valdevaqueros is protected and safe to sail, even if the wind is very strong. This makes Valdevaqueros the perfect place, not only for beginners and intermediate surfers, but also for experts who want to perform their tricks without risk of swimming to the shore if things go wrong.

Although Valdevaqueros is a protected bay and very safe to sail, the center is equipped with a rescue boat and staff responsible for all the guests who are in the water.

Located right at ION there is a snack bar where you can eat and drink as well as enjoying the best burgers in town. Guests can have a nice cocktail after a sailing session, at the famous TUMBAO bar which is right in the center. During the summer months there is live music and a very special beach club atmosphere every weekend.
