The cove of Bologna is mostly known for the archaeological site of Baelo Claudia, a Rome in small that has preserved almost all the elements that characterize a Roman city: temples, forum, basilica, hot springs, theater, salting factory, etc. but its wonderful environment hides other historical landmarks that often go unnoticed.
In this archaeologist for all we propose you to know these unknown and mysterious remains of our past, from the Peña Sacra de Ranchiles, a possible altar of pre-Roman sacrifices; the anthropomorphic tombs and Roman quarries of Punta Camarinal, to the Shorán and Anclón bunkers that tell us stories of World War II.
In a few places in the Strait of the Strait, History and Nature are joined in a way as harmonious as in Baelo Claudia’s environment
